Case study: Retail, CRO. Results: 25% lift

I Provided suggestions and UX/UI improvements that were causal and resulted in 25% lift in consumer engagement and a reduced bounce rate!

I worked with Maui Jim as a User Research and Usability Contractor on a 6 month project. On any given day I create UX flows for new features, ran A/B tests to improve their E-commerce CVR/CTR & Revenue across the site, and conducted Qualitative User Research.

I did content and behavior analysis using Google Analytics, Woopra, Crazy Egg, & Optimizely, I conducted a UX Audit of the site and prepared a report with actionable items to drive the A/B testing.

My approach to any new client is to get an understanding of the internal beliefs about what customers “think”, then validate them with real users to identify areas where they might be disconnect. I use this as map to shine a light where this disconnect might be surfaced in the UI/UX.
